MathBase1 is a simple to use software package created to support the
teaching of numeracy in schools. This versatile resource is easily
integrated into schemes of work and complements direct teaching with
activities differentiated to meet the needs of the whole teaching
group. There are 5 programs. Topics include:
- Counting to 10, 20 & 100
- Recognition of dice patterns
- Recognition of small numbers by sight
- One to one correspondence
- Numbers written in words and figures
- Spelling number words
- Numbers in English, Welsh and French
- Tally marks
- Roman numerals
- Place value with tens and units
- Estimation and comparison
- Addition within the 10 by 10 addition square
- Subtractions within the 10 by 10 addition square
- Multiplication within the 10 by 10 multiplication square
- Divisions within the 10 by 10 multiplication square
